The University of Navarra Hosts the 13th conference Papyrology

From June 3 to 5, the University of Navarra hosted the 13th conference Papyrology, the meeting of the association of Papyrology (AEP), which regularly brings together specialists in this discipline at various academic institutions. The meeting organized by the Schools Theology and Philosophy and Letters at the University of Navarra, in partnership the AEP.
The meeting together researchers from research and international universities and research centers, who presented their work on the study of papyri.
Throughout the various sessions, participants addressed issues related to the physical nature, conservation, and collecting of papyri, as well as various fields of papyrology, including medical, archaeological, Christian, documentary, digital, legal, and literary papyrology.
The program concluded with a visit the University of Navarra Museum, where participants were able to see firsthand some works of significance to the history of Egyptology, such as first editions related to Champollion or the *Description de l’Égypte*.
The conference with the general meeting of the association of Papyrology, bringing to a close three days of academic activity and exchange researchers.
