The publishing house Stella Maris has published the book "60 questions on Science and Faith answered by 26 university professors", in which in an accessible language internship tries to answer questions such as whether it is possible to have a scientific knowledge of God, or if there are purely human emotions.

It is a choral work with the participation of 14 professors and 12 lecturers from 13 different universities and the most diverse disciplines. The book allows a global reading, from nine chapters that approach the problem from its different possibilities. The texts of the answers are complemented by abundant bibliography of enquiry that provides the reader with materials to deepen in the different fields.

From the School Ecclesiastic of Philosophy of the University of Navarra, the professor Santiago Collado González answers three questions: "Is everything subject? Is materialism the only possible interpretation?", "Has the notion of the soul become obsolete?" and "Is the intelligent design a scientific or religious theory?"

For his part, Javier Sánchez Cañizares gives an answer to "Is quantum mechanics relevant for the scientific understanding of the mind-brain problem?".

The Visiting Professor Miguel Pérez de Laborda sheds light on whether "Is Darwinism essentially atheistic?" and whether "Does reason have anything to say about God and the problem of evil?". For his part Juan Arana answers whether "Can there be a scientific knowledge of God?".

David Jou, Héctor Velázquez, Fernando Sols and Ignacio Sols, members of group of research Ciencia Razón y Fe(CRYF) also participate in the book.

The work has been coordinated by Francisco José Soler Gil
professor of Philosophy at the University of Seville and Manuel Alfonseca, Full Professor of Lenguajes y Sistemas Informáticos.
