The University of Navarra is the 37th best university in the world for employers, according to the GEURS 2022 ranking prepared by the consulting firm Emerging for Times Higher Education. The result represents an improvement of four positions over the previous edition and places it second in Spain in employability, of seven Spanish universities that appear in the ranking, only two of them among the top 50.

The Emerging Employability Ranking has been compiled for the past twelve years through surveys conducted directly with the managers of employment of international companies, in this edition a total of 99,000 in 24 countries. The respondents, according to the ranking, are responsible for more than 800,000 recruitments worldwide. Although more than 1,000 universities are voted on, only 250 are selected to appear in the ranking.

According to Alfonso Vericat, director of Career Services, "these results are the result of a continuous effort by the University to offer a teaching adapted to the needs of the labor market and to prepare students to face the professional reality in the best possible way. In addition, the ranking is the recognition of one of the main social impacts of the University: to annually provide the labor market with graduates who have a relevant and positive role in the economic development of their respective countries and who are highly demanded by the business world".

2,875 traineeships and 1,447 work

During the 2021-2022 academic year, Career Services processed 2,875 internships for students and graduates, and a total of 1,447 positions were offered at work. These are some of the figures that respond to the strategic plan promoted by Career Services which, as Alfonso Vericat explains, is structured in three axes: "The partnership with leading companies in Spain and abroad, the development of training programs in employability for students of Degree and postgraduate program, and personalized advice to students and alumni in subject of employment".
