The University will offer in the 2014-2015 academic year Diploma in management Pharmaceutics

The University of Navarra will offer as of the 2014-2015 academic year, the Diploma at management Pharmaceuticalsdegree scroll , a Degree in Pharmacy that seeks to to train future professionals in the knowledge and skills of management in the different areas of the pharmaceutical sector..

This program, which the School of Pharmacy is launched in conjunction with the School of Economics and Business AdministrationThe program consists of 6 specific elective subjects (18ECTS) and the possibility of focusing the work End of Degree (6ECTS) on applied economic-pharmaceutical contents.

Given the complexity of the current healthcare system and the economic difficulties, the diploma aims that "the future pharmacy student acquires a broader knowledge of management and pharmaceutical planning in order to to effectively carry out its activity in any of the areas of the pharmaceutical sector"Adela López de Cerain, dean of the School Pharmacy, emphasizes.

The pathway supports the Degree in Pharmacy providing in each course training in management: Economics and Finance (1st), Accounting and Finance (2nd), Purchasing and Distribution and Marketing and Sales (3rd), management and Business Management (4th) and Pharmacoeconomics (5th). Some of these subjects will be taught during the months of May and June, allowing student to also take other electives specific to Degree in Pharmacy.. As a complement to diploma, the student will have an additional training with conferences and other activities with industry professionals.

This program starts next academic year 2014-2015 with 15 places available. They can access them prospective students with a minimum grade of 7 in 1st grade. high school diploma.
