"Vademecum for the family: The truth of human love."

New book by Augusto Sarmiento, Professor Emeritus of the School de Teología

Augusto SarmientoProfessor Emeritus of the School of Theology of the University of Navarra has published "Vademecum for the familyThe truth of human love" in the publishing house EUNSA, Astrolabio collection. The degree scroll 'Vademecum' responds to the fact that it is a book of little Issue and easy to use for immediate enquiry of fundamental notions or information.

The presentation address is position by Bishop Juan Antonio Reig Pla, Bishop of Alcalá de Henares and Vice President (Spanish section) of the Pontifical Council for the Laity (Pontifical Council for the Laity). Pontifical high school John Paul II for programs of study on Marriage and the Family. In it he emphasizes that the author "is, without a doubt, the best expert" on the topics referred to "the dignity of human life, marriage and the family". And he trusts "that this book will contribute to the training of all those who work in this precious area of the Church's mission statement and will help engaged and married couples to discover the greatness of human love.

In the introduction, Professor Sarmiento writes that this work is due to the will to disseminate the document document that the lecture Episcopal published in 2012 "The truth of human love. Orientations on conjugal love, gender ideology and family law".

"Vademecum for the Family" answers 100 questions, distributed in seven chapters, plus an epilogue or conclusion. Some of the questions raised are: What is human love? What is meant by the expression "gender ideology"? Can human beings be fulfilled as persons regardless of their sexual condition? Each answer refers to biblical references or to documents of the Magisterium of the Church.

Augusto Sarmiento (Velillas del Duque, Palencia, 1941) is a priest. D. in Theology from the University of Navarra. He is currently a professor of "The Moral of the Person" in the seminar Diocesan Conciliar San Miguelin Pamplona, and parish priest in three villages of Navarra: Ciriza, Echarri and Belascoain (of Echauri).
