Miguel Brugarolas, professor at School of Theology at the University of Navarra, has published Cristología. Published by EUNSA, this is the eighteenth book in the 'Colección Manuales del ISCR' of the high school Superior de Ciencias Religiosas.

To study the mystery of Jesus Christ, in the words of Professor Brugarolas, means going into the heart of the New Testament and apostolic preaching. This is what Christology leads to, which, like all theological studies, is born of the faith it seeks to understand. "It is, therefore, a study in which reason, enlightened by faith, attempts to deepen the knowledge of the person of Jesus Christ and his work of salvation". In this sense, he points out that "Christology, with the Church's confession of faith in the foreground, seeks to answer two fundamental questions: who is Jesus Christ and how did he obtain salvation for mankind".

With a pedagogical and accessible style, this guide "aims to offer the basic contents of Christology". The book has its origin in the twenty-eight lessons of Christology that Professor Lucas Francisco Mateo Seco (+2014) prepared for the use of the students of high school Superior de Ciencias Religiosas (ISCR). It can be said that the new guide "constitutes an updated, reorganised and expanded version of those lessons, which have been given the didactic form they now possess".

Lucas Francisco Mateo Seco was Full Professor of Dogmatic Theology at the University of Navarra and author of numerous publications. In 2008 he received the Gold Medal of the University of Navarra in recognition of his theological and priestly work service to the Church and the University.

Miguel Brugarolas is Professor of Dogmatic Theology at the University of Navarra and member of committee publishing house of the journal Scripta Theologica.

The 'ISCR Manuals Collection' is aimed at parents, catechists and formators, teachers of religion or professionals from different fields who feel the need to improve their own training. The books published so far are the following: Introduction to Theology, Ethics, Mariology, Philosophy of Science, Pauline Writings, Pentateuch and Historical Books, Theological Anthropology, Synoptic Gospels and Acts of the Apostles, Mystery of God, Ecclesiology, Theology of Creation, Prophetic Books, Poetic and Sapiential Books, Morals of the Person: the Virtues, Fundamental Morals and Theology of the mission statement.
