They arrived in September 2013 from Ecuador, El Salvador, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Tanzania, Venezuela and Spain. Almost three years later, on Wednesday, May 25, they celebrated their licentiate degree at Canon Law: this is the LIV promotion leaving the classrooms of the School of Canon Law

The ceremony began with a Eucharist presided over by the student of the graduating class of Juan José Domingo, O. Cist. In his homily he emphasized that they left "with a formed criterion" and wished their companions that "in the exercise of the different responsibilities we never forget that the quality of our love for Jesus Christ is expressed in service and in the submission".

The academic ceremony was presided over by Antonio Viana, Dean of the School of Canon Law and José Antonio Fuentes, director of programs of study. At the opening speech the class delegate, Mario Alvarenga, expressed his gratitude for the unity that has existed among the students since their arrival at the University of Navarra and had a fond memory for their professors.

For his part, Pedro Juan Viladrich, Full Professor emeritus and godfather of the LIV promotion, used the metaphor of the grain of salt to encourage them to serve wherever they are asked to "dilute and thus lose their grain conformation. A good canonist is a good grain of salt, as small as he is tasty, who assumes his condition amused, merciful and tenacious. Diluting himself is a profound way of serving, of putting himself last".
