The Minister of Universities, Joan Subirats, has met with the rector's team of the University of Navarra as part of an official trip to Pamplona. During the meeting, the Minister explained the key points of the new project of the Organic Law of the University System, on which he also took up the suggestions made by the University.

For her part, the president of the University of Navarra, María Iraburu, conveyed the current challenges of the academic center, centered on Strategy 2025, a plan that is structured around three axes: Education transforming, research impact and focus, and interdisciplinary university.

The president has stopped to explain one of the major projects within the framework of Strategy 2025: the BIOMA Center. This is a new space for the promotion of the training of students from different Schools; the research multidisciplinary and applied Biodiversity and Environment Institute, and the scientific knowledge dissemination , through the activities and exhibition of the Science Museum. The president pointed out that with the BIOMA Center "we aspire to promote solidarity between generations, the knowledge of the natural heritage, the research in environment and, in final, the care of the environment and of people".
