Call for papers for the Special Issue on the evolution of technology and business models in fashion retail is now open.

ISEM Fashion Business School professors Teresa Sádaba and Pedro spanish medical residency program, together with Simone Guercini (Università di degli Studi di Firenze), have been selected as guest editors of the Journal of Fashion Marketing and Management, a prestigious scientific journal indexed in Journal Citation Reports (JCR Q2, IF 3.2) and Scopus (Q1).
Together with Simone Guercini, Sádaba and spanish medical residency program will coordinate a Special Issue graduate "E-commerce, physical stores and new technologies in the evolution of fashion retail business models", whose goal is to delve into the transformation of business models in the fashion retail sector.
The call for papers is now open and interested researchers can submit their proposals until July 31, 2025, with a possible extension of the deadline until November 2025. Topics of interest for this special issue include:
- Digitization and automation of physical fashion stores
- Augmented reality for physical and e-commerce fashion stores
- Retail apocalypse and the role of e-commerce and new technologies in fashion
- Artificial intelligence, heuristics and machine learning for marketing in fashion retailing
- Neuromarketing and visual merchandising in physical and e-commerce stores
