This course, the School of Education and Psychology has organized with students the third edition of the FEPS(Fast Excellent Powerful Students) sessions, an initiative promoted by students for students whose goal is to add a complementary training to their Study program.

This edition covered pedagogical topics, such as the use of the abacus to promote the learning of mathematics. Professor Izaskun Fernández de las Heras showed how this technique can be another alternative to the traditional teaching method.

Rakel Mateo, a psychopedagogist, explained the role of pedagogy in bereavement situations, especially when working with children. "One of the keys", she said, "is how information is managed to accompany the patient at this stage". For her part, the journalist Nagore Gil explained the basic elements of a communicative process and the tools available for verbal and non-verbal communication to convey an effective message.

On the other hand, the course also focused on the psychological aspect. The students listened to the testimony of Eduardo Prieto, a first division referee, who expressed the importance of having a positive and proactive attitude to achieve success.

Professor David Ramirez also approached the topic attitude from another angle. He focused on the emergence of mental disorders, which derive from the way people cope with pain.

For his part, Professor and consultant Carlos Andreu defined the basic competencies of each person subject from the perspective of the relationship with others in the field of work.

The depression of young people in the XXI century was the degree scroll of a roundtable between psychologists Raquel Ortigosa and Antonio Blanque, and psychiatrists Nuria Ferrer Chinchilla and Maria Joana Escamilla. This last session dealt with the different ways of dealing with people suffering from this disease and the lifestyles of young people that can lead to this disease.
