The high school Martín de Azpilcueta of the School of Canon Law of the University of Navarra has prepared the ninth edition of the Code of Canon Law annotated. The coordination work has been carried out by position Prof. Gerardo Núñez.

The work is published three years after the last reprint, following legislative changes and reforms of some provisions adopted in order to meet new pastoral challenges.

Among the novelties are the new canons on the processes for the declaration of the nullity of marriage, duly commented, as well as the other legislative changes approved by the Holy See to date, with the corresponding commentaries in each case.

The Code, as in previous editions, has been published by EUNSA. It is a user-friendly work, which offers sufficient elements for the interpretation of the canons in their context and sources. Because of its theoretical orientation and internship, it is aimed at university students, professors of Canon Law and ecclesiastical law at Schools of law and ecclesiastical universities, curial office holders, ecclesiastical judges, parish priests, lawyers and those interested in Canon Law in general.
