submission La Fábrica de Camisas recently renewed its commitment to research for rare childhood diseases by sending 9,747.20€ to Cima , the amount raised in the "La Fábrica de los Tantantantan Valientes"solidarity campaign.

The Spanish signature , through the campaign, donates 1% of its sales in both its physical and online shops to the cause. The initiative is still active on its website, where you can make a donation and ensure that many children do not have to be "so brave" in the fight against their illness.

Research to cure

There are more than 7,000 rare diseases. Most of them have a genetic origin and more than half of them affect children. They are rare pathologies for which there is no cure or effective treatment. They are generally chronic and degenerative, and can be serious and disabling. In Spain, more than 3 million people are affected.

At Cima University of Navarra, research is carried out to understand the origin and development of these diseases and to design novel strategies for their treatment. 

Its lines of research focus on three rare diseases: rare liver disease(Wilson's Disease, Hyperoxaluria and Acute Intermittent Porphyria), rare neuronal disease(Dravet's Syndrome and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and rare blood disease(Multiple Myeloma).
