Alicia Otano participates in the IV congress International Linguistics and Literature of the University of Cantabria.
The ISSA School of Management Assistants professor shared her experience at the subject of language and English Culture with a hundred experts.

Alice Otano, professor at ISSA School of Management Assistants, participated from June 20 to 22 in the IV congress International Conference on Linguistics and Literature organized by the University of Cantabria. Under the degree scroll 'New perspectives in the study of modern languages', the congress was attended by a hundred experts.
Professor Otano's communication focused on Processing Literacy: Promoting Language and Cultural fluency at C2 level English, in which she collected her experience in the subject language and English Culture, which she has taught during the 2015-16 academic year to C2 level English students at ISSA-University of Navarra. Throughout these months of the course, the teacher updated the contents in order to optimize the students' performance.
In this subject, students have worked with bibliography global English obtaining a very broad sociolinguistic perspective of language. In addition, through the oral presentations they made during the course, they developed the knowledge of the different English-speaking cultures.
