workshop Welcome 2015

Some twenty student and service groups will introduce new students to all the cultural, social, solidarity, social and sporting activities offered by the campus

The Welcome workshop marks the starting signal for the students to begin academic year 2015-16. In total, about twenty stands will fill the leave floor of Central Building on Tuesday, September 1, so that the more than a thousand new students, national and international, know all the student initiatives of which they can be part, as well as the different Cultural Activities Office, solidarity, social and sports with which they can fill in their academic training .

The workshop will start at 19h. and is scheduled to end around 21h. In addition, 4 food trucks from an external business will be selling American and Tex-Mex food on the Science and Communication esplanades from 12:00 to 18:00. 

From first thing Tuesday morning, Cultural Activities Office will be reporting on Facebook and Twitter the evolution of the workshop. In addition, the University of Navarra will tell(Twitter and Facebook) all the activity related to the beginning of the course. Follow it with the label #bienvenidaunav!

Classic rock concert at 8:00 p.m. at Central

One of the novelties on the program of the 2015 Welcome workshop is the performance of group Striving Possibles, formed by Ignacio Garay (guitar), Agustín Echavarría (bass), Pablo Cobreros (guitar), Ana Watson (vocals) and Rubén Solla (drums). The quintet came about thanks in large part to the University's School of Modern Music and the new classrooms at essay in the sports center building.

The name group was given in honor of the philosopher Leibniz's theory, since four of the members of group have studied Philosophy.

In the concert, which will begin around 8 p.m., they will offer a repertoire of classic rock covers , withworks by well-known groups such as Guns & Roses, Led Zeppelin, Eagles or Iggy Pop.
