Professor Antonio Sempere is appointed Supreme Court Justice

The lawyer collaborates with area of Labor Law and teaches at Master's Degree in Personnel Management Service in Organizations.

The plenary session of the Executive Council of the committee General of the Judiciary has appointed Antonio Vicente Sempere Navarro to occupy the place of magistrate of the conference room of the Social of the Supreme Court that was vacated by the retirement of Aurelio Desdentado Bonete, also from Elche. Sempere has reached the post by the turn of jurists of recognized prestige.

Sempere is Full Professor of Labor Law and Social Security of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid and obtained the support of 15 of the members. 

The new judge of conference room Fourth of the Supreme Court has a PhD in Law from the University of Murcia, where he graduated in 1977. He was also Full Professor of the University of Oviedo between 1996 and 1987 and of the University of Murcia between that year and 1999, when he joined, also as Full Professor, the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid.

His activity professor and research during the last 37 years is linked to the social jurisdiction. During that time he has collaborated regularly with the School of Law of the University of Navarra, especially in the area of Labor Law. He also works professor in the School of Economics, where he teaches in the Master's Degree of Personnel Management Service in Organizations.

Together with Sempere, José Luis Requero, former spokesman of the conservative association Profesional de la Magistratura (APM) and specialist in litigation, has been appointed as a judge of the High Court.
