Three conference to deepen the history of Opus Dei
CEJE and the Josemaría Escrivá Historical Institute organized an academic congress in Madrid

An international congress dedicated to the study of Opus Dei between 1928 and 1975 was held in Madrid from June 11-13, 2025. The meeting, organized by the Center for the programs of study Josemaría Escrivá (CEJE) and the Josemaría Escrivá Historical Institute, brought together researchers from various universities and included the participation of academics from countries such as Argentina, Kenya, Italy, France and Spain. During three conference , new perspectives on the history of the Work and its context were presented and discussed.
The first workshop, on Wednesday the 11th, was dedicated to the monograph Opus Dei between the post-war period and the transition. On Thursday 12, the topic The Worlds of Opus Dei, 1928-1975, was discussed within the framework of the monograph Studia et Documenta 2027. The last workshop, on Friday the 13th, focused on Government and training in Opus Dei, 1928-1975.
All the sessions were held in the Master's Building in Madrid and were attended by a large number of specialists, consolidating the congress as a relevant space for the rigorous study of the recent history of Opus Dei.
