Nursing, Science and Pharmacy, and Nutrition celebrate the Day of the patron saint

Students and professors from Schools of Science, Nursing and Pharmacy and Nutrition gathered to celebrate together the Day of the patron saint last September 28, with various events that began at 11 a.m. and lasted until noon.
The workshop began with the celebration of the Holy Mass in the chapel of the Sciences Building, giving way then to a lecture position which was given by the chemist and agent of the Scientific Police of Seville, Antonio Luis Agüi. He began his exhibition by making a historical review of the presence of scientific study in the criminal research , and then focused on the presence of the internship of the forensic Chemistry : "Today, thanks to technological advances, the internship of the forensic Chemistry has been taken to different fields of analysis that allow and help to solve the commission of a crime, such as the analysis of fibers, residues, waste or explosives".
Nowadays there are several organisms that carry out this subject of investigations, such as the high school National Toxicology and Forensic Sciences, the State Security Forces and Corps or the high school of Legal Medicine. The talk was held at the auditorium of Sciences and was attended by a large issue of attendees.
Giant PaellaAs a culmination of the party, all attendees were able to enjoy, outdoors, a giant paella in the facilities of sports center of the University.
