30 teachers from schools and high schools participate in a Biology course at the University of Navarra

The course is supported by department of Education of the Government of Navarra.

Thirty biology teachers, from 18 centers of teaching Compulsory Secondary Education and high school diploma of Navarra, have participated in a training program, eminently practical, taught by researchers from the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra.

Throughout four sessions, the teachers conducted experiments typical of the classes of Biochemistry , microbiology, Anatomy pathology and Environmental Biology, which are taught at the University. They also attended lectures and visited the Museum of Natural Sciences and the research center Applied Medicine (CIMA).

The course"Teaching biology in 2013" is supported by department of Education of the Government of Navarra, and has served to guide participants in the management and choice of internships for their students, and to strengthen professional relationships between teachers.

The participating schools are the following: CPEIP de Zugarramurdi; IES Sancho III el Mayor de Tafalla; IES Marqués de Villena, de Marcilla; IES Padre Moret-Irubide de Pamplona; IES Basoko, Pamplona; BHI Lekarotz-Elizondo; IES Biurdana, Pamplona; Centro de Education Primaria y high school diploma San Ignacio, Pamplona; IES Huarte; IES Navarro Villoslada, Pamplona; Ikastola San Fermín, Cizur Menor; Ikastola Argia, Fontellas; IESO Aoiz; IES place de la Cruz, Pamplona; IESO Pedro de Atarrabia, Villava; IES Tierra Estella, Estella; IES Ribera del Arga, Peralta; and IES Pablo Sarasate, Lodosa.
