The Library Services hosts a memorial exhibition of Víctor Ruiz Iriarte
Víctor Ruiz Iriarte (1912-1982) was a prolific playwright.
The professor, playwright and president of the Sociedad General de Autores between 1969 and 1974, Víctor Ruiz Iriarte, is remembered in a exhibition hosted by the Library Services of the University of Navarra on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth.
The sample, which is part of the project of research "La comedia de posguerra en España", subsidized by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, is organized in two thematic blocks: life and work of the author; and is based on two types of support: showcases containing objects of diverse subject and small panels with text. The archives belong to file staff owned by the playwright's family.
Víctor Ruiz Iriarte (1912-1982) was a prolific playwright. His plays include El puente de los suicidas, El aprendiz de amante, El gran minué, El landó de seis caballos, Juego de niños, La guerra empieza en Cuba, El carrusell, Un paraguas bajo la lluvia, La muchacha del sombrerito rosa and Historia de un adulterio. At exhibition, which will be at campus until June, each of these theatrical pieces has a display case with objects related to them.
