The programs 'Don't turn off the light', 'Tres14' and the FESNAD website, awarded in the I Nutrition Week
The University of Navarra recognized for its informative work in the field of food and health.
The television programs "No apagues la luz", of Popular TV Navarra; Tres14, of Televisión Española; and the web page of the FESNAD (Spanish Federation of Nutrition, Food and Dietetics Societies) were awarded during the I Nutrition Week of the University of Navarra for their informative work in the field of nutrition and health.
The event, which took place at Civican, was directed by Professor Alfredo Martínez Hernández. Also participating were Antonio Villarino, treasurer of the FESNAD; José Luis Aranguren, cook of "No apagues la luz"; Carolina Calvo, presenter of "No apagues la luz"; Ana Montserrat, director of Tres14; Andrew Solomon, from International Projects of research center Applied Medicine (CIMA); Iker Albéniz, biologist specializing in scientific knowledge dissemination ; and Miriam Salcedo, PhD in Communication.
Prior to the awards submission dietitians-nutritionists from department of Food Science, Physiology and Toxicology offered free nutritional advice to people who came to the center.
