13 values to get out of the crisis, topic of the supplement presented by students of Journalism of the University of Navarra.
Bieito Rubido, director of 'ABC', was a special guest at the event.
Students of 4th year of Journalism at the University of Navarra have presented today 'solucionES, a 32-page supplement that sample, through 13 values, the stories of people who changed their lives to find a way out of the crisis. Bieito Rubido, director of 'ABC', attended the event, which took place at School of Communication of the academic center.
The supplement, produced at partnership with Diario de Navarra and printed on the Heraldo de Aragón press with a print run of 4,000 copies, is part of the subject "Edición de diarios y revistas".
"After almost three years of hearing about the crisis, it is time to turn it around. We lead a generation that can boast of being the most prepared, but also the most pessimistic," explains the student and director of the publication, José Miguel Sánchez Rodríguez.
Through 13 values (humility, initiative, creativity, leadership, optimism, innovation, wisdom, experience, community, intelligence, balance, effort and humor), the supplement tells the stories of people who sought an alternative to this status. "We want the reader, when they finish looking at these pages, to feel the strength and desire to get out there and face the storm. The other option is to do nothing," he adds.
A professional work
'solucionES' is the fifth edition of a project that began in 2005, which aims to involve students in journalism at degree program. Likewise, the goal is to create, with "real fire", an elaborated and professional product in all aspects.
"It is rare to find the quality of this supplement in other Schools", said Bieito Rubido, director of ABC, in reference letter to the SolucionES supplement. In his opinion, "it is not only uncommon because of the design or the way it is written but, above all, because of what it wants to say".
The solucionES team is made up of 19 people: José Miguel Sánchez (director); María Crosas, Ane Rotaeche, Arturo Puente and Andrea Bonilla (design); Sergio Rodríguez, Leire Ariz, Lucía Bonilla, Guillermo Rivas, Ainara Apesteguía, Marta García, Daniel Rivas, Andrea Gurbindo, Álvaro Calleja, Luján Hortigüela and Bernabé Sánchez (essay); and Pablo López-Learte (cover); Ainhoa Múgica and Raquel Ballugera (advertising).
Professor Miguel Ángel Jimeno emphasizes that the publication is the result of "a seen and not seen. A prodigy of work in silence". According to him, the supplement seemed not to exist, but good planning led to a very rapid closure. A project that translates into "a lot of optimism, a lot of order, a lot of good atmosphere and a lot of teamwork. grade And that can be seen at result: magnificent.
