In the School of Theology, two Extraordinary Prizes of licentiate degree were awarded to Francisco Javier Pueyo Velasco and Isabel Mª León Sanz. Likewise, the award Extraordinary doctorate went to Miguel Brugarolas Brufau. The School of Canon Law awarded the Extraordinary award of licentiate degree to José Mª Chiclana Actis and that of doctorate, to Ignacio Jesús Granado Hijelmo. In the Ecclesiastical School of Philosophy, the Extraordinary Prizes were awarded to Jorge Martín Mongoya Camacho (licentiate degree) and to José Manuel Giménez Amaya (doctorate).

Activities outside the campus
Professor Tomás Trigo, from the department of Systematic Theology, gave a session in the 'workshop pastoral training for priests. La partnership of man and woman in the Church and in the world', organized in Galicia by the association Social and Cultural Porta do Camiño. His intervention took as degree scroll 'The family, domestic church and sanctuary of life "The father and the mother have said a total "yes" to each other before God, which constitutes the basis of the sacrament that unites them; likewise, for the internal relationship of the family to be complete, it is necessary that they also say a "yes" of acceptance to their children..... Jorge Otaduy, professor at the School of Canon LawUniversity, intervened in the workshop Special on Matrimonial Proceedings organized by the association Spanish Association of Canonistsof which he is president. Among other experts, Felipe Heredia, graduate of the School, who has recently been appointed judge of the Spanish Tribunal de la Rota, will intervene.
Professor Juan Antonio Gil Tamayo, professor of Patrology and director of programs of study of the School of Theology, gave in Almeria the lesson 'The Presbyterate in History' in the first meeting of training Permanent for the Clergy, organized by the Vicariate of the Clergy for this pastoral course. The educational activity took place in the House of Spirituality of the seminar 'Queen and Lady' of Aguadulce.
José Ramón Villar Saldaña, Professor of Dogmatic Theology, will participate on December 5 in the second meeting of training Permanent of the diocesan clergy of Almeria. His talk will be on "The role of the priest in ecclesial communion".
He also intervened in the congress on "Family in the Contemporary Society: from Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant Perspectives", held from 10 to 12 October 2011, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the School of Orthodox Theology "Vasile Coman", University of Oradea (Romania), with the discussion paper 'The Plan of God for Marriage and the Family. A Roman-Catholic Perspective'.
Moreover, he presented on November 15, 2011 the discussion paper 'Fede cristiana e Università' at the academic workshop on "Catholic Theology in Comtemporary World. Reflections ad intra et ad extra". The activity was organized by the Rimskokatolícka Cyrilometodská Bohoslovecka Fakulta of the University of Bratislava (Slovakia), on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of its erection.
