Nine alumni of the University received scholarships for international internships.
The International Internship Scholarship Program 2016 is part of the International Plan of Navarra.
Nine alumni of the University of Navarra will carry out international internships for at least six months in companies, centers of research, NGOs and other institutions outside the European Union.
The International Internship Scholarships 2016 program belongs to the International Plan of Navarra of the Regional Government and is co-financed through the European Program of employment Youth 2014-2020. Thus, it will enable the internships of 24 students from the University of Navarra and the Public University of Navarra with a total of 144,792 euros.
The beneficiaries had as requirements be linked to the Autonomous Community, be in status of unemployment accredited by the Youth Guarantee System, not be receiving training, have studied a university degree program and be under 30 years old.
The University of Navarra students awarded scholarships for international internships are Andión Arteaga (History, School of Philosophy and Letters), who will travel to Argentina; Miren Zuazo (Biochemistry , School of Sciences), Switzerland; Marta Agote (Master's Degree in Biodiversity, Landscapes and Sustainable management , School of Sciences), USA; Maite Monreal (Building, School of Architecture), Ecuador.
Also Ana Jiménez (Audiovisual Communication, School of Communication), Chile; Lorena García de Vicuña (Public Relations and advertising, School of Communication), USA; Alicia Rebollo (Journalism, School of Communication), New Zealand; Amaro Fermín Sánchez (Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy), USA; and Irene Artal (ADE, School of Economics), China.
