The final year students of School of Nursing at the University of Navarra decided to donate part of the money raised for their graduation to Chair for research María Egea. The idea arose, according to course delegate Maria Laura Lopez Gomez, "because we all wanted to make some action of volunteer activities that would directly benefit nursing, and the Chair seemed the best option".
The University's Chair María Egea was created in 2007 to channel the commitment of training and research in Nursing, promoting activities that contribute to deepen the principles on which it is based and that can generate new useful knowledge to provide better care to the person, family and community.
