"Happiness is the reward for those who undertake the daily journey to be or try to be the best at what they like to do". This was stated by Pablo Zubieta, co-author of the book 'Professional Happiness', at the University of Navarra, during a session he gave on how to achieve this goal to students and alumni.

"If you don't develop a competitive difference staff all you have is a resume: you'll find employment, but you won't be happy," the expert pointed out at the lecture organized by ISSA Management Labthe Degree student club at management Applied Management. "You have to find and work hard at what you like, what you feel useful and know how to do well. That will generate professional happiness," concluded speaker during his speech.

graduate (PGLA) and PhD in Communication from the University of Navarra, Zubieta has more than a decade of experience as a Marketing Coach & Thinking Partner, and has spent much of his career in the field of marketing, of which he is a recognized expert in his native Mexico.

The speaker presented his plan by drawing a parallel with Real Madrid's French coach, Zinedine Zidane, who with discipline built the success story we see today. "The question is whether you know what you need to do to be the Zizou of what you want to be. I didn't know it about me." To this end, his recommendation was that everyone should know what they need to master and know how to do, and collect it in a document: "Make your checklist," he insisted repeatedly throughout the session. This list, he explained, is nothing more than a list of pending tasks with the goal to "guarantee that the necessary aspects are fulfilled to achieve what is desired".

In any case, Zubieta pointed out that there is no magic formula, as everyone is unique. However, he offered four questions to ask yourself to find that path: what you want to be; what you like to do; where you are most useful; and expertise, "not the experience but the combination that allows you to be the best at something". "It's the combination of each that provides that competitive difference and brings you closer to goal," he said.
