Learn about their stories
Every year on January 28, the feast day of St. Thomas Aquinas, the University submission Silver Medals to professionals who have completed 25 years of work. This tradition began in 1986 to recognize the years of service provided by employees of the University, the Clinic, Cima, Ceit the IESE Business School.
That first year, 68 professionals received the Silver Medal. The ceremony took place in the auditorium Sciences Building was presided over by the then President, Alfonso Nieto. The first person to receive it was Ismael Sánchez Bella, the first President the University, who had launched the Estudio General de Navarra (the seed of the University) in 1952.
To date, 3,146 employees have received the University's Silver Medal.

In 2000, 122 people began their professional careers at the University, and today they celebrate 25 years of dedication, effort, and service. These are 122 stories that intertwine across centers, Schools Departments; 122 faces that light up when remembering everything they have built together; 122 champions of everyday life and service to others; 122 defenders of talent, science, and commitment to our institution.
