Emotional culture and identity

Alejandro Vigo participated in the international colloquium 'What should we do with Heidegger?', organized by the School of Philosophy of the Universidad Panamericana de México with the lecture 'Heidegger y la 'Analítica de los principios' kantiana' (Mexico, 30-31/03/2016).
 

Pilar León presented the paper 'Body Image and Poliomyelitis from the American Psychosomatic Perspective' at the session 'The Great Challenge of Infectious Diseases: Global Health and the History of Emotions' at the European Social Science History Conference. In addition, it was chair y discussant of the session 'Intersections between Health and Education throughout the XXth Century' (Valencia, 30/03/2016 - 02/04/2016).

Madalena D'Oliveira-Martins attended the seminar of researchers García Pelayo 'Care, vulnerability and interdependencies, new political challenges', held at the Center for Political and Constitutional programs of study (Madrid, 30/03/2016).

Ruth Breeze presented the discussion paper 'Corpus and computation in teaching law and language' in the congress 'The fabric of language and law. Discovering Patterns through Legal Corpus Linguistics'.held at the University of Heidelberg (Germany, 18-19/03/2016)..
 

Ramon Gonzalez gave the lecture 'Grammar, speech and textual cohesion: advances and challenges in the study of discursive labels' at UNED (Madrid, 16/03/2016).

Jokin de Irala attended the meeting Annual Pontifical Academy for Life in Rome (Italy, 02-05/03/2016).

José Ignacio Murillo gave the lecture 'Language and thought: Saussure in the context of the 'linguistic turn' of XXth Century Philosophy' at the 'Interdisciplinary Conference: The Cours de Linguistique Générale revisited: 1916-2016'.organized by 'Polis - The Jerusalem Institute of Languages and Humanities' in Jerusalem (Israel, 31/03/2016).

Francisco Güell gave the lecture 'The unity of the human living being: a philosophical and biological approach' in the research center Advanced Social Services (CISAV) (Mexico, 04/03/2016). He also participated as speaker in the Sessions of update Bioethics of CISAV with the session 'Biological and ontological status of the human embryo' (Mexico, 11/03/2016). In addition, he taught a 5-hour course in the Master of Bioethics of the same center with the degree scroll 'La unidad del viviente desde el paradigma constitucional' (Mexico, 12/03/2016).

On the other hand, he participated as speaker in the 'Workshop II: knowledge Interdisciplinary. From Philosophy to Biology' organized by the Popular Autonomous University of the State of Puebla and the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Mexico, 14/03/2016).

In addition, he gave the lecture 'Is there really human life from conception?' in the IV Family conference organized by the Center for Family and Society programs of study of the Popular Autonomous University of the State of Puebla. He also participated in the panel 'Family and digital media', within the same conference (Mexico, 16-17/03/2016).

Finally, he gave the session 'In search of the unity of man through an interdisciplinary project of research ' in the diploma holder 'Current Challenges of Science from an Interdisciplinary approach ', aimed at teachers and researchers in the areas of science and Humanities, and the general public with a broad culture on contemporary scientific developments.
