On Saturday, June 11, the little ones will star in their own Olympics, on the occasion of World Olympics Day. The Olympic programs of study Center of the University of Navarra has organized a workshop of activities where children will be able to try and participate in sports such as rugby, archery, baseball or tennis, among others, and will enjoy competitions and sports exhibitions. It will be a morning where they will feel like real Olympic athletes.

In addition, this year, as a novelty, the Clinic of the soccer player Javi Martínez will be present during the workshop. This first Pamplona grassroots soccer clinic, which will be held from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the sports center facilities, is aimed at children born between 2000 and 2010. With more than 120 children participating, the deadline of registration has already been closed.

If you are interested in registering your children in the other activities of the workshop, you can confirm attendance by sending an email to deportes@unav.es.

As physical activity requires regaining strength, a healthy breakfast will also be served. Afterwards, the children will gather at sports center to raise the flag and sing the Olympic hymn, and the submission awards ceremony will be held for the winners of the various competitions of the day.

World Olympics Day aims to promote the values of sportsmanship, to demonstrate the importance of sport for cultural interaction and coexistence, and to spread Olympism among young people.
