Moonshot.ceothe platform for the creation and management of Innovation Ecosystems, has launched "project 50", a call for 50 trainees who from June 1st will launch a scout pull to map, identify and analyze disruptive startups globally, focusing on technology innovation hubs. The scouter's work , from the English term "scout", consists of analyzing startups around the world that are developing disruptive technologies to learn about innovation, entrepreneurship and investment. "Students will discover and understand what the world's most innovative startups are doing and what companies and investors are demanding," says David SuriolCEO of the company and Alumni(COM '96).

The project is powered by Juan Gimeno Combarrostudent of ADE and Law, who with his experience as Scouter Manager in the company decided to propose to David the creation of an ambitious call to somehow stop the great issue of internships that were being canceled because of Covid. "We decided to open this door that for many students seemed closed. It is a work that complements very well the knowledge acquired during the degree program, makes you wake up and elaborate your own business ideas. We must train ourselves very well. We are the future," explains student.

Moonshot will train the scouts through sessions with innovation leaders from MIT, speakers from NASA, Venture Capital Funds and entrepreneurs along with other students from Standford University, Columbia or the University of California, among many others, who will also be part of the program. The program aims to explain to the students what is the work and the vision of each of the actors involved in an innovation process, what they demand and what are their contributions. On a weekly basis, the team will meet to address the doubts and issues that arise among the scouters to complement the training they will receive around 5 innovation nodes: Robotics, CleanTech, Energy, AI & Digital Life and Life Science. "Our goal is that any participating student is able to give a talk on innovation to all its School, if we do not achieve this we will have failed," admits Gimeno.

The program starts this Monday and has been a great success. The Moonshot team will consider expanding issue for next year's pull due to the great interest it has generated among university students.
