José Félix Martí Masso, former student and Doctor in Medicine and Surgery from the School of Medicine of the University of Navarra, has received the award Euskadi de research 2014. The award has recognized his pioneering and exemplary career in the scientificresearch applied to problems that represent a challenge for the welfare of society, highlighting above all the finding of the syndrome"Pseudomigraine with CSF pleocytosis".

Dr. Martí is Senior Associate Professor at the University of the Basque Country and Head of the Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology Department at the University Hospital of Donostia. His research work focuses on the observation of singular patients suffering from peculiar alterations or therapeutic responses. He also participates in programs of study prospective subject clinical-therapeutic or genetic.

The award Euskadi de research, which has an economic endowment of 40,000 euros, has as goal encourage scientific activity and stimulate, promote and value the efforts of researchers and qualified teams from the Basque Country or outside the community, whose work has had a positive influence on it.
