The University of Navarra celebrated on May 31 the graduation of the 38 students of the XVI Promotion of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, the best degree program of Spain according to the latest ranking of 'El Mundo'.

position The keynote lecture was given by Professor Roncesvalles Garayoa, patron of the graduating class who recalled how "the current economic situation has influenced the change in consumer purchasing patterns and a decrease in the quantity, variety and quality of food intake". A problem that he encouraged the new "experts in food, nutrition and dietetics" to solve by helping the population to make "healthy dietary choices". To do this, he insisted that dietitians-nutritionists "must promote a behavioral change through the Education, the training and motivation".

After their speech, the course delegates Marta Ventura and Lydia Morell, said a few words of thanks with which they alluded to the complete training received in which "in addition to making diets, analyze the composition of food or perform nutritional Education " have also acquired extensive skills of "organization".

The event was chaired by the Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Adela López de Cerain, who was accompanied by the Associate Dean of Students, Alberto Pérez Mediavilla; the Vice-Dean of Office of Academic Affairs, María Concepción Cid; and the President of the high school Official Dietitians and Nutritionists of Navarra, María Rosario Ezcurra.
