The University launches an international certificate of teaching for the Degrees of Education Infant and Primary
The certificate will allow students to practice their profession in more than 5,000 educational centers in 150 countries that offer this methodology.

The School of Education and Psychology of the University of Navarra offers from the academic year 20/21 the certificate in the teaching-Learning of the Primary School Program (PEP), for the students of the Degrees simple of Education Infant y Education Primary. This certificate, which is based on the methodology and curriculum offered by the International Organization high school diploma (IBO), allows teachers and future teachers to practice their profession in more than 5000 educational centers in 150 countries that offer this methodology.
In our country there are already 25 schools that offer this program, which is booming, and "it is possible that in one to three years there will be around 50," says Monica Sepulveda, coordinator of the program and of the Master's Degree in faculty. The International high school diploma International defends a methodology based and centered on the student as the engine of learning, and moves away from the traditional way of teaching. Lectures are reduced and dynamic classes are used to develop the student's critical thinking and researcher .
"The curriculum structure, centered on transdisciplinary planning, motivates students to think for themselves and to take responsibility for their learning through inquiry into real-life local and global issues," Sepúlveda says. "The University of Navarra is part of this learning community and works with public, charter and private schools that offer these international programs locally, nationally and internationally, he adds.
Six years ago, the University implemented thiseducational approach as an additional Diploma to the Master's Degree in secondary school faculty and high school diploma, being the only university in Spain that offers it through a professionalizing Master's Degree
Students from Holland, Italy, Australia and Indonesia have taken this program. The commitment to implement it in one of its Degrees arises from the increase in student satisfaction and the satisfaction of the centers where they carry out their internships and are hired. "In the last four years we have seen an increase in the rate of employment rate, from 45 to 50%, of those students who opt for this certificate; who access a work space once they finish the Master's Degree".
Sessions to raise awareness of certificate and the Master's DegreeStudents wishing to start this certificate in the Degree must choose a minimum of 150 ECTS credit through compulsory subjects, electives, internships in high school diploma International high school diploma schools and the TFG in this context.
