Hundreds of university students received at the University of Navarra the symbols of the workshop World Youth Day - the Cross and the Icon of the Virgin Mary - in an event that took place on the esplanade of the School of Communication. After a Mass celebrated at the Clinic, the meeting with the students included various testimonies and interviews with participants of previous conference World Youth Days (WYD). In addition, a Gospel passage was read and workshop of 2011 in Madrid was presented.

The Youth Cross and the Icon of Our Lady will travel to various places in Pamplona and the Community of Navarre. On Saturday they will participate in a Way of the Cross and a prayer vigil in the chapel of San Fermín in the capital of Navarre. On Sunday a Eucharist will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. in the Cathedral, presided by the Archbishop, D. Francisco Pérez González.
