Support from the University to the family of Nagore Laffage and message from the President
Statement from President, Ángel J. Gómez-Montoro, on the occasion of the trial that began on Monday 2: "A little over a year ago, the tragic death of Nagore Laffage, a student at the School of Nursing, plunged her classmates at the School, the Clinic and all of us at the University of Navarra into grief. Her memory has been with us ever since and is even more vivid in these difficult times. I am aware of how poor any word of consolation is in the face of the loss of a human life, but I do not want to fail to convey once again to her family our affection, our closeness and our prayers. Now all that remains is to trust in justice".
A similar message was expressed on Saturday, the 31st, by the Director of Nursing, Mercedes Pérez Díez del Corral, during the support rally organized in Pamplona by Nagore's mother, Asun Casasola. Several students and professors, as well as the Director of Nursing at the Clinic, Carmen Rumeu, also joined meeting .
