Three alumni of the University of Navarra, first international award by the Observatoire de la Finance (Switzerland)

The award, presented by OECD's University Secretary , Angel Gurría, was received by Marta Rocchi and brothers Andrea and Luca Roncella.

development The Swiss think tank, Observatoire de la Finance, awarded the first award "Ethics & Trust in Finance" to three Italian researchers and alumni of the University of Navarra, at a ceremony at the headquarters of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris.

Andrea Roncella, Ph. School of Economics from the University of Navarra and Luca Roncella, alumnus of the Master in Economics and Finance of the same School and researcher of Boston Consulting Group, were awarded for the article: "Finance is also bilingual". Marta Rocchi, PhD from the University of Navarra and Professor of Business Ethics at Dublin City University Business School, won first place ex-aequo (equally, due to its high quality) for her publication "Technomoral financial agents: the future of ethics in the Fintech era".

The three young people trained at the University of Navarra received the award in the presence of the OECD's University Secretary , Ángel Gurría; Professor Paul Dembinski, president of the Observatorie de la Finance and co-president of the Jury of the award; and Josina Kamerling, from high school CFA (certificate Chartered Financial Analyst).

The award, awarded in the seventh edition of this international competition, was created in 2006 for promote the research in the field of ethics in the financial sector. The Swiss-based promoter association , Observatoire de la Finance, pre-selects researchers and financial professionals under the age of 35.

Marta Rocchi is Assistant Professor in Corporate Governance and Business Ethics at Dublin City University Business School. She previously worked as a researcher and assistant director of research center for Markets, Culture and Ethics (Italy). She holds a PhD from the University of Navarra with specialization in ethics of finance and is Master's Degree and holds a degree in Economics from Sapienza University of Rome. Her research focuses on business and finance ethics and digital ethics.

Andrea Roncella holds a PhD from the University of Navarra. He has worked as researcher at the research center of Markets, Culture and Ethics at the Pontifical University of Santa Croce Rome. He is Master's Degree in Economics and finance and graduate in Economics and administration at LUISS University (Rome, Italy). He was appointed Visiting Scholar at the Mendoza College of Business (University of Notre Dame, IN, USA) and is a member of the Virtue Ethics in Business Research Group at the University of Navarra. He is a member of the high school of the Seven Pillars for Ethics and Global Finance. His research focuses on virtue ethics and Catholic Social Teaching in business and finance. He is also a member of the Think Tank, Civismo.

Luca Roncella is a Research Associate at Boston Consulting Group. Previously, he worked at IESE Business School as an assistant at research for department Finance. He is Master's Degree in Economics and Finance, and graduate in Economics, from the University of Navarra. She is also a member of the researcher team of the Think Tank, Civismo.
