25 university students prepare for their Erasmus+ internships
The scholarship recipients will carry out internships in companies in European Union countries.
25 students and graduates of the University of Navarra have participated in the conference to prepare for the first call for Erasmus+ internships. The meeting, organized by Fundación business University of Navarra, took place at Amigos Building of the academic center.
During the conference, the selected undergraduates attended sessions on living conditions and work in Europe, professional skills and employment rate. In addition, they heard the experience of Ainhoa Prieto, a Nutrition graduate, who enjoyed a Leonardo scholarship at the University of Birmingham's high performing center.
The consultant Esteban Solano closed the conference with his motivational session "I love my Company", in which he encouraged the university students to take advantage of this experience, to integrate as much as possible in the business and the country of destination, and to make professional contacts. "Leave your mark on business. Wherever you go, you have to make them remember you," he recommended.
Internships for six monthsStudents and graduates will carry out internships starting in September in countries such as Austria, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. The internships will have a duration of six months average and the funding will be established according to the standard of living in the destination country.
This program, promoted by the European Union, seeks to unify all the initiatives of mobility by creating a single channel of action. In the case of Fundación business University of Navarra, Erasmus+ replaces its previous scholarship programs Leonardo Da Vinci, for graduates, and Erasmus, for students.
