The Chair of Heritage and Art of Navarre of the University of Navarra has organized a lecture series on"The Cultural Heritage of the Renaissance".

These meetings will take place in different locations in Navarra during the months of September and October. Pedro Echeverría Goñi, professor at the University of the Basque Country, will inaugurate the cycle with a lecture on the 5th at the Palacio de los Mencos in Tafalla. In the same way, every Friday of September and the first Friday of October a lecture will be held at position by professors from the universities of Zaragoza, UNED-Pamplona and Navarra.

The Chair de Patrimonio y Arte Navarro collaborates with the City Councils of Tafalla, Lerín, Larraga, Mendigorría and Miranda de Arga to respond to a shared concern: to contribute to a greater knowledge, conservation and evaluation of the Renaissance artistic heritage of each of these localities.

These conferences are part of a program of tourist-cultural activities organized by these municipalities, which began in June and will end in February 2015. Among the most outstanding activities are various recitals and concerts, guided tours and a photographic contest.
