DATAI and NAIR Center sign aframework agreement for strategic partnership in Artificial Intelligence

DATAI, the Institute of data Science and Artificial Intelligence of the University of Navarra, and NAIR Center, research center in Artificial Intelligence of Navarra, have signed aframework agreement of strategic partnership with the goal of promoting research, training and development of projects in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data science. The president of the University of Navarra, María Iraburu, is a board member of the board of trustees of NAIR Center.

This agreement will allow both institutions to collaborate closely, sharing knowledge, tools and resources to generate synergies that lead to innovative solutions and projects aligned with business and research needs. "Since the creation of both centers we have been working hand in hand, and this agreement will allow us to increase the partnership with new research and transfer projects. It is an opportunity to reinforce our commitment to research in data science and artificial intelligence in Navarra and to consolidate the strategic partnership between reference letter institutions in Navarra", said Jesús López Fidalgo, director of DATAI.

The main areas of partnership include:

• training and training: development of joint training programs, supervision of industrial doctoral thesis and supervision of Master's Degree and Degree final projects.
• jointresearch and development : participation in basic and applied research projects, as well as support in technology transfer initiatives.
• Events and dissemination: organization of joint events and events for the knowledge dissemination of AI and data science, with a special focus on promoting the participation of young people and women in these areas.

The agreement, which has an initial duration of three years and provides for automatic annual extensions, establishes the creation of a monitoring committee made up of representatives of both institutions to ensure compliance with the objectives and the correct development of the projects.

With this initiative, DATAI and NAIR Center consolidate their commitment to innovation, the training of specialized talent and the transfer of knowledge to the business and social fabric of Navarra.
