Manuel Casado, Full Professor of the University of Navarra and corresponding academician of the Real Academia Española Royal Spanish Academyhas been appointed chairman of the Commission of the National Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation ( assessment ), which accredits accreditation (National Agency for Assessment of Quality and Accreditation) that accredits professors in the area of Arts and Humanities, within the Academia program. Prof. Casado is researcher principal of the project 'Public discourse' of the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) and teaches teaching at the School of Philosophy and Letters of the campus Pamplona.

Professor Casado has worked as professor at the Universities of Seville, Autónoma de Barcelona, La Coruña and UNED, as well as at the University of Navarra. He has also given courses and lectures at other academic centers in Spain and abroad.

He is a member of the boards of essay, scientific committees or advisory boards of a dozen scientific journals.

At the University of Navarra he has held several positions, such as Dean of the School of Information Sciences (1984-1990), Vice President of academic staff (1997-2007), director of the department of Hispanic Linguistics and Modern Languages (2001-2009) and director of the committee publishing house of the Linguistics Collection (2000- ) of the publishing house EUNSA.
