The group of research Siglo de Oro (GRISO) of the University of Navarra has published in Bombay (India) the volume East and West. Exploring Cultural Manifestations, edited by Kala Acharya, Ignacio Arellano, Mariano Iturbe et. al. This book constitutes the conference proceedings of the "International Interfaith Dialogue Seminar: Culture, Religion, Philosophy, and Literature", held in Bombay in September 2009, which was organized jointly by GRISO, K. J. Somaiya Bharatiya Sanskriti Peetham (Somaiya Vidyavihar, Bombay, India), The Hispanic Baroque Project (University of Western Ontario, Canada) and Sri Ramanuja Mission Trust (Chennai, India).

The volume gathers 35 papers, with varied multidisciplinary approaches, by researchers from India, Spain, Portugal, England, Poland, Egypt, Mexico, the United States, Canada, Australia, etc. Ignacio Arellano (with a work on Calderón's autos sacramentales) and Sabyasachi Mishra (with a contribution on Barlaam y Josafat, a hagiographic comedy by Lope de Vega) have collaborated on behalf of the University of Navarra. The book is dedicated to Dr. Shantilal K. Somaiya's recently deceased report . Somaiya, recently deceased, founder in Bombay of the K. J. Somaiya Bharatiya Sanskriti Peetham, an academic institution that has been actively involved in promote harmony and peace through interfaith dialogue. For more than a decade, he has been organizing seminars and conferences to foster the spirit of dialogue among followers of different faiths and cultures, most recently at partnership with the GRISO of the University of Navarra.
