The University of Navarra awarded the prizes of the VI conference of training of Literary Excellence, in which around a hundred students of ESO and ESO participated. high school diplomaThe awards were given to students from schools in Valladolid, Madrid, Jaen, Bilbao, Valencia, Seville, Barcelona, La Coruña, Badajoz, Malaga and Cordoba.

In the short story modality , the winner was Fernando Vilchez, from high school Altocastillo (Jaén); the second prize award went to Marta Cabañero, from high school IALE (Valencia); while the runner-up prizes went to Rafael Contreras, from high school Altocastillo (Jaén), and Pilar Martínez, from high school Montespiño (La Coruña).

In the article press award, José Mª Jiménez Vacas, from El Prado (Madrid), won the top prize award; and Belén Meneu, from high school IALE (Valencia), received the second prize award. María Santaella, from high school Sierra Blanca (Málaga), and Aloma Riera, from La Vall (Barcelona), received the first and second runner-up prizes, respectively.

This project, created by Excelencia Literaria (EL) and endorsed by the academic center, has been supporting and promoting the training of talented young writers since 2004. The VI conference, which lasted several days during which training was given to future university students, was attended by the writer and director of Excelencia Literaria, Miguel Aranguren; the publisher, translator and professor Carlos Pujol; the musician Luis Agius; and professors and representatives of the University of Navarra as Javier de Navascués and Rosa Fernández Urtasun, from the School of Philosophy and Letters.
