32 university sportsmen and sportswomen receive awards at the University of Navarra Sports Gala

A total of 32 university athletes were honored at the University of Navarra's Sports Gala, an event that was attended by 250 people at attendance and to which more than 400 guests connected virtually.
Likewise, the deputy editor of Mundo Deportivo, Cristina Cubero, received the scholarship of Honor of Sports, a award in recognition of her professional career and her partnership with the University of Navarra.
Javier Trigo, director of Sports Service, highlighted that Cubero "has been committed to the University throughout this course: he ran the degree program of the brave, participated in the Sports Law course, was present for the Sports and Society Forum, and is part of the committee advisor of the Olympic Center programs of study ".
Cristina Cubero expressed her gratitude for the award and stressed the importance of the University's Sports Talent Program: "It brings together knowledge and love for sports," she said.
Among the young people honored were Iker Oyarzabal Albas, who practices figure skating on ice, and Teresa Abascal Imizcoz, who competes in athletics, who received the award for the best athletes of the University.
During the Gala, the public enjoyed the performances of the Esther Amorós dance school, the performance of the winner of the contest "La Voz de tu School", Kang Zheng, student of Theology, and the show of the Magician Numis.

- Male candidates: Yago Navarro (Fencing), Iker Oyarzabal (Figure Skating on Ice) and Koxme Burutaran (Rowing). Winner: Iker Oyarzabal.
