Last Friday, June 1, the University of Navarra celebrated the Investiture Ceremony of 168 new PhDs. Of these, 23 belong to Schools and come from ten different countries.

The ceremony took place at the classroom Magna of Central Building and was presided over by President, Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero, who stressed the need for today's leaders, "in addition to excellent technical preparation," to be characterized by a way of working that promotes "the common good above the individual good." "It is our hope," he added, "that those of you who are receiving this cap today will leave with the 'University of Navarra seal': a way of working that is full of exigency staff and a positive and generous spirit.

For her part, the godmother of the graduating class and professor at School of Medicine, Elisa Mengual, made reference letter to the achievement of defending a thesis , in many cases, "with an added vital effort", since a third comes from outside Spain and "many others from other autonomous communities", as she pointed out.
