More than 200 executives attend IESE alumni meeting
The meeting of the Territorial Association of the Business School of the University of Navarra will be held tomorrow in Baluarte
The University of Navarra's IESE alumni Association will hold its annual meeting tomorrow at Baluarte with the attendance of more than 200 executives from Navarra, the Basque Country and Rioja, who will have the opportunity to listen to presentations on current economic issues, as well as meet up with former colleagues and exchange experiences.
The workshop will begin at 4:15 p.m. with welcoming remarks by the President of the University of Navarra, Ángel J. Gómez-Montoro; the mayor of Pamplona, Yolanda Barcina; and the president of the IESE Alumni Association, Javier Chocarro.
At 4:30 p.m., IESE Prof. Javier Díaz-Giménez will give a lecture entitled "Global Economics and Spanish Economics : status and Perspectives. At 5:30 p.m., the vice-president of the National Energy Commission, Fernando Martí, will speak on the topic status Currentstatus of the electricity sector: renewable energies and their future regulation."
At 6:45 p.m., the president and CEO of Dragados, Marcelino Fernández, will be interviewed by Jesús Martínez de Rioja, former director of Expansión, on the topic "Economic crisis: between realism and optimism".
The President of the Government of Navarra, Miguel Sanz, will speak at the closing ceremony.
