Maria Palmier, a graduate in Biotechnology, was part of the first graduating class of Master's Degree in management of Pharma-Biotech Companies.

"After finishing degree program in Biotechnology, I felt the need to broaden and consolidate all my knowledge in order to face professional life with more security and confidence". With this in mind, María Palmier decided to take the first edition of Master's Degree in management of Pharma-Biotech Companies that the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition offers at Campus of the University in Madrid. "It was a fascinating year in which I was also able to learn about all the professional opportunities offered by the pharmaceutical industry".
At the end of the program, Maria completed her paid internship at department in Market Access at GSK, where she collaborated in the market access plan for the launch of three new indications for a severe asthma product. "After the internship I joined the Scientific Information team at GSK and, after two years at business, I decided to undertake my professional degree program abroad, where I am putting on internship all the knowledge acquired at Master's Degree".
Thus, he now works at Sanofi Athens as Project Management Officer for Central and Southern Europe in Specialty Care. "I am in charge of managing strategic and operational projects within all Specialty Care therapeutic areas in the eight countries where we are present."
The work market is increasingly demanding and changing, and requires highly trained, curious, passionate professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit, with highly developed skills and international profile . Maria is a good example.
