The high school Navarro de las Artes Audiovisuales y la Cinematografía (INAAC) and the University of Navarra have signed an agreement agreement to jointly develop academic, research, cultural and professional projects related to cinematography. The agreement was signed by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Juan Ramón Corpas Mauleón, as president of the board of trustees of the INAAC Foundation, and the President of the University of Navarra, Ángel J. Gómez- Montoro.

According to agreement , both institutions will collaborate in the research of audiovisual and cinematographic materials, in the realization of screenings and cycles, courses and seminars, as well as any other activity in the field of audiovisual arts and cinematography.

Likewise, they will promote, to the extent of their possibilities, contacts between professionals and students of the University of Navarra and INAAC; they will encourage the publication and dissemination of results of common interest, the creation of spaces for the training of groups of work and the joint realization of activities, with the goal to reinforce the professional preparation of future graduates of the University of Navarra.

The cinematographic heritage of Navarra

The agreement will promote the joint research of the history of cinema in Navarra, filming in Navarra and the activity of the Film Commission, as well as any other activity of interest to both parties. Likewise, it will promote the study of the cinematographic heritage of Navarre through the film collections of the Film Library of Navarre and the University of Navarre, as well as the realization of internships for students, with special attention to the final projects of degree program in the audiovisual field and to the participation in shootings that take place in the region.
