Excellence program work presented in Zaragoza
Last April 29th were exhibited at the conference room of the Ibercaja Camón Aznar Museum in Zaragoza were exhibited the works that received honorable mentions of the Excellence program program of the University of Navarra.
One of them, "Doctrina Parot: ¿injustice or right?" is by three students from the high school SansueñaLoreto Sesa, María Broto and María Remírez; and the other, "Can the 15-M movement be a valid example of the concepts of new sensibility, civic humanism or Zeitgeist? high school MontearagónÁlvaro Margalejo, Alejandro Utrilla, Jorge Clúa and Tomás Lahoz.
Loreto wants to study Communication; María Broto and María Remírez de Ganuza, Álvaro and Tomás are opting for Medicine, Alejandro for electronic engineering and Jorge for industrial engineering.
After the presentation of the works, Alejandro Navas, professor of Sociology of the School of Communication of the University of Navarra, pronounced the lecture: "The University in a society in crisis".
The Excellence University Program is a program of training in competencies for university and professional life aimed at students from high school diploma. It arises from the partnership between different schools and the University of Navarra, as well as from their common interest in improving the cultural training of the students and, therefore, their capacity for action in society. The program consists of a common part for the different schools and a specific part in each one of them.
