The same week that IESE was ranked for the third consecutive year as the best business school in training for executives, the students of Master's Degree from Personnel Management Service attended the program accompanied by different professors, including Nuria Chinchilla, Mireia las Heras, Pablo Maella, Francisco Gay, Esther Jimenez and Carlos Rey. They also discussed more than ten cases, attended lectures and shared closer moments in informal colloquiums. Marta García Sanz, a student of Master's Degree, highlights "the professionalism of attention and the quality of the content", and also highlights "a very human approach " in addressing the issues.

Among the topics to be discussed, Nuria Chinchilla addressed the issue of work and family, leaving behind the concept of 'family and work conciliation', as they are not opposing terms, choosing to call it "integration of work and family". She also wanted to emphasize how this depends above all on the individual person and not on business.

Another issue considered was the management of the life trajectory, about which Professor Paco Gay stressed that it is a "journey" rather than a "professionaldegree program , because we do not run against anyone" and "each journey is unique".

Along the same lines, Álvaro Lleó stressed the importance of maintaining a balance between the professional development and staff, in "a society that requires us to develop only the former, forgetting the latter".

The partner director of DpM Consulting, Carlos Rey, invited the students to reflect on their mission statement staff and how important it is, at the moment of managing teams, that leaders involve their collaborators in the corporate mission statement , making the general mission statement concrete in small missions, making them responsible, thus avoiding that the mission statement becomes something abstract and becomes something operative and real.
