First "Olympic Navarre" stamps awarded to 34 organisations

On June 28th, coinciding with the celebration of World Olympics Day in Pamplona, the first "NavarraOlimpica" stamps were awarded.

This initiative, promoted by the Olympic Center programs of study of the University of Navarra, aims to encourage all sports, school and social organizations in Navarra to promote and disseminate the values of sport and Olympism. These entities are committed to live the Olympic Spirit, as stated in the Decalogue of Principles that are included in the commitment of adhesion that the entities acquire when they receive the seal.

On this occasion, the entities that received the seal were the following:

The submission took place in the emblematic place consistorial of Pamplona and was attended by Paz Prieto, Councilor for Youth and Sports of the City Council of Pamplona; Tomás Gómez-Acebo, Vice President of the University of Navarra; Javier Trigo, director of the Olympic Center programs of study of the University of Navarra; Carmelo Paniagua, Vice President of the Spanish Olympic committee ; and Roberto Sanz, director of Communication and External Relations of El Corte Inglés in Navarra.

The option of apply for the "Navarraolimpica" seal is open to all entities in Navarra that request it through the website of the Olympic Center programs of study .
