The University of Navarra maintains its position in the Times Higher Education World University Ranking, which places it between positions 301 and 350 worldwide. It also ranks fourth among the Spanish universities that appear in this study. This ranking classifies 1,000 universities out of the 25,000 that exist in the world.

The University of Navarra, which last year was in the same ranking, has improved its score in the areas of research, citations in scientific publications, internationalization and in the transfer of knowledge to society.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings is a global survey of universities that systematically evaluates the "world's leading institutions in the following areas: teaching, research, transfer of knowledge to society and international outreach".

The ranking uses a total of "13 carefully selected indicators to reflect the most comprehensive and balanced comparison possible. It also takes into account the opinion of students, academics, university leaders, entrepreneurs and governments. Between them, the study has examined more than 56 million citations in 11.9 million scientific publications".

Ana Delgado, director of International Office at the University of Navarra, expressed her satisfaction with the results. "We have improved significantly in the section of citations in scientific publications, which reflects the quality of our research.

We have also gone up in international outreach, which is one of the objectives of our Horizon 2020. Globally, we have 21.7% of foreign students. Every year we receive more and more international students who choose the University for a Degree".
